About Dr. Paul

Background and clinical approach

Dr. Paul is a board-certified physician who has spent over a decade in clinical practice. In addition to her conventional medical training, she has pursued extensive education in functional, integrative, and longevity medicine, blending that with her experience as a board-certified physician to offer a broader diagnostic and therapeutic toolkit.

Her practice provides the one thing most clinical settings can't: time. Extended consultations, comprehensive diagnostic workups, and the ability to follow a patient longitudinally as interventions take effect. She uses advanced testing across hormonal, metabolic, inflammatory, and nutrient systems, and builds individualized care plans that account for the full clinical picture.

All consultations are virtual, which removes geographic barriers for your patients and scheduling friction from your referral process. Dr. Paul can work with patients in any state where she holds licensure, with IMLC expansion underway.

How she works with referring providers

Dr. Paul treats your referral as a professional relationship, not just a patient handoff. She can work with you directly as needed on any case. Specific commitments:

  • ·With the patient's consent, summary of findings, assessment, and care plan shared with you
  • ·Direct communication if anything requires your attention or if medication coordination is needed
  • ·No changes to medications you manage without coordinating with you first
  • ·Ongoing updates for patients in continued care
  • ·Available for a direct conversation on any shared patient, anytime

When to Consider a Referral

Situations where Dr. Paul can help

These are the types of cases where having a colleague with extended appointment time and functional/integrative training can be a useful addition to the patient's care team.

Patients who would benefit from extended clinical time

Patients with multiple overlapping concerns that are difficult to address thoroughly within a typical visit structure. Dr. Paul's consultations are 60 minutes, with time to review the full history and explore the intersections between systems.

Hormonal health and perimenopause

Women with hormonal complaints who would benefit from comprehensive hormone and thyroid panels, ongoing management, and dedicated longitudinal attention to the hormonal, metabolic, and inflammatory interplay.

Patients interested in proactive health optimization

Motivated patients looking for advanced biomarker analysis, preventive screening, and a long-term health strategy. They're often willing to invest out of pocket in a dedicated optimization program alongside their existing care.

Patients asking about functional or integrative medicine

When a patient expresses interest in this space, a referral to a board-certified physician with functional and integrative training keeps them within the medical system and ensures clinical rigor. Dr. Paul coordinates with you throughout.
